    GISAR objectives:<\/p>\n

    • to identify and analyze the main risks that threaten the population within the built area;<\/li>\n
    • to identify the main risk areas;<\/li>\n
    • to elaborate some \u201cRisk area maps\u201d which will be used as a planning tool within the urban planning policies;<\/li>\n
    • to establish correlation between the present distribution of functional localities areas and the spatial distribution of risk areas, to highlight the existing situation;<\/li>\n
    • to integrate the results in the urban planning policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
DESCRIPTION<\/b><\/td>\nThe DENATH Project is formed from two essential components: Implementation of the disaster management Program in Romania, APELL-RO, and Impact assessment of dangerous substances by means of GIS and ACR technologies, in order to support local communities, GISAR.
\nAPELL-RO, the first of the DENATEH Project components, is focused on the management and mitigation of the natural and technological risks and hazards. The integrated approach of the APELL Program priority measures contributes to the mitigation of the chain effects generated by the manifestation of any type of risk that might affect environmental safety.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
