OBJECTIVES
  • Creation of an complex system of identification and nanoscale determination methods and techniques for some chemical residues from animal originated food products aiming to harmonize legislation from field of ensures the quality of food products with international legislation emphasis towards EU legislation;
  • Accomplishing of an systematic study of influence of this residues n human health and correlation of products types with nutrition customs;
  • Increasing the visibility of Romanian research towards the perspective alignment to European scientific community and accessing common research projects.
DESCRIPTION TECHIM proposes the development of advanced determination techniques of chemical residues in animal originated food products and studies regarding possible hazards on human health, correlated with specific customs in peoples nutrition (what, and in what quantities is consumed, statistics).

During the project it will be followed:

  1. Detection of chemical residues and their systematization, especially of veterinary drugs, by therapeutic categories, in various types of food products (meat, meat products and eggs);
  2. Development of a techniques to determine chemical residues in animal originated food products by using liquid chromatography HPLC and HPLC coupled with mass spectrometer;
  3. Investigation of the effects of residues present in animal originated food products on human health;
  4. Obtained results will be integrated into a database and will be correlated with international food quality standards of food products. The harmonization between national standards and international EU standards will be followed. Obtained results will contribute to elaboration of quality management system of food products useful on both governmental levels as well as to increase efficiency in growing domestic animals. Patent proposal on developed method will be made.
