Objectives:
development and implementation of clean technologies for superior utilization of biomass;
realization of a pilot plant that will apply this technology;
recovery of resulted sludge and their use as fertilizer in agriculture;
elaboration of a biogas standard according to EU norms;

OBJECTIVES
  • establishment of a solid and viable partnership among different RD organizations (universities and research institutes) and enterprises with activity in the field;
  • development of products, processes and clean technologies and the capitalization of the biomass from energetic point of view;
  • promotion of clean energy technologies, environment protection measures and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions;
  • promotion of technologies that capitalize waste byproducts;
  • technology optimization at laboratory scale;
  • technological transfer from laboratory scale to pilot scale;
  • patent proposal;
  • dissemination of obtained results.
DESCRIPTION The project has the following purposes:

  • development and implementation of clean technologies for superior utilization of biomass;
  • realization of a pilot plant that will apply this technology;
  • recovery of resulted sludge and their use as fertilizer in agriculture;
  • elaboration of a biogas standard according to EU norms;
  • technology patent;
  • PC7 proposal.

The degree of novelty for this project is given by:

  • achievement of a flexible CHP system that allow the use of a wide range of biomass under conditions of farms in Romania;
  • determination of factors that influence the energy efficiency of biogas production in an integrated system including cogeneration;
  • recovery of resulted sludge and their use as fertilizer in agriculture;
  • design and construction of a pilot plant;
  • transfer of developed technology and of pilot plant at economic scale
  • impact study of biogas production;
  • a standard for biogas according to EU norms.

  • identified biomass resources in agricultural farms (according to farm types that are characteristic for Romania);
